The Approach

Low testosterone, or Low-T, is a medical condition that affects an estimated 13 million men in the U.S., but the symptoms are often ignored or blamed on natural aging. Testosterone levels in men peak at age 30 and decrease each year by 1 – 2 percent. As testosterone levels fall, physical and mental performance declines and the body starts to break down.

It is a virtually certainty: with age and lower testosterone levels, men will lose strength, endurance and energy. The most common symptoms of Low-T include fatigue, increased body fat, weakened bones, loss of body and facial hair, erectile dysfunction, and decreased libido.

Studies prove that older men with common health problems such as obesity, diabetes, and high blood pressure may be twice as likely as other men their age to have Low-T. If left untreated, Low-T increases your risk for diabetes, heart disease, osteoporosis and prostate cancer.

There is good news. Men’s Medical Institute is the first healthcare organization in the St. Louis area specializing in Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT), which has been proven effective by countless studies in alleviating the problems caused by Low-T.

Men receiving TRT have seen significant improvements in many areas of their lives, including:

  • Increased muscle strength
  • Greater endurance
  • Improved levels of energy
  • Better sleep patterns
  • Improved mood
  • Lowered cholesterol and insulin processing
  • Improved sexual performance
  • Decrease in blood pressure
  • Decreased risk of heart attack
  • Improved memory and general attitude
  • Improved prostate health or may alleviate further problems
