What is the difference between subcutaneous and intramuscular NAD+ injections?

Subcutaneous injections go into the fatty layer under the skin; intramuscular injections go into muscle. MMI supports both, and your clinician helps choose what suits you.

Comfort, technique and personal preference often guide the choice. Both are self-administered at home after instruction.

If one route is uncomfortable, talk with the clinic about switching rather than stopping on your own.

Risks and limitations

  • Injection-site soreness, redness or bruising can happen with either route.

Request a call and an MMI team member will reach out to talk through next steps. A request is not a booked appointment.
