What this notice covers

This notice describes the mensmedicalinstitute.com website only. It does not describe how the practice handles medical records or information you give the office in person or by telephone.

What the website asks you for

When online requests are available, the Request a Call form asks for your first name, last name, email address and telephone number, and requires you to confirm that you agree to be contacted. Those four details and that confirmation are the only information the form accepts.

The form does not ask for, and should not be used to send, symptoms, diagnoses, medications, laboratory results, insurance details, card numbers or any other medical or financial information.

Reading the rest of the website does not ask you to type in any information. Like any website, the services that host and protect these pages receive technical details of each visit, such as your network address and browser.

What happens to a Request a Call submission

The Request a Call form appears only when a delivery connection to the practice's lead system is configured. When it is not available, as is currently the case, the website asks you to telephone the office and shows no form.

If the form is made available, the details you submit, along with the time you gave consent, would be sent to the practice's lead system and used to respond to your request. The website's own code does not save those details in its database and does not deliberately write them to its logs, and it asks that system to alert staff with a notice that does not include your details. The hosting and security services that carry the request may keep their own technical records of it; what they keep and for how long is set by those services.

Visit measurement

The company that hosts this website, Lovable, adds its own measurement scripts to every page. These are part of the hosting service, not something the practice built into the site. When a page loads, they send the hosting service a record of the visit: the page address, the page you came from, your browser and device type, your language setting, a location estimate based on your time zone, and a session identifier.

A separate hosting script can report page interactions, such as navigation and moving between browser tabs, along with technical errors. That script has a setting for recording clicks automatically; in the version of the site we checked, that setting was not turned on. None of this is a record of whether you placed a call or booked an appointment, and the site's own code does not record what you type into any form.

The practice uses this information to see how the site is visited and to keep it working, not for advertising. How the hosting company itself uses and keeps this information is governed by its own privacy policy at lovable.dev/privacy.

Google Search Console and Google Analytics

The practice uses Google Search Console, a Google service that reports how the site appears in Google Search, such as how often its pages are shown and clicked in search results and whether Google has indexed them. It works from Google's own search data and does not add a tag or script to these pages.

The practice also uses Google Analytics, a Google service, on its public informational pages, including pages about testosterone therapy and other services, pricing, transferring care, the Answers library, news and archived articles. It is not used on contact, payment, staff, review or privacy pages. On the pages where it runs, Google Analytics sets cookies and receives the page address without any search terms or fragments, a fixed general page title, and information about your browser, device and visit. It is set up not to receive the page you came from, anything you type, or any call or appointment activity, and its advertising features are turned off. The practice has set Google Analytics to keep this data for 14 months. Google's use of this information is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

This website does not use Google Ads tracking.

Cookies and browser storage

Visiting the public pages can place these small files in your browser: a session identifier from the hosting measurement script, which expires after 30 minutes; a security cookie from the hosting network's bot protection; and a cookie the hosting service uses to deliver the current version of the site. The site also stores your scroll position for the current browser tab only. How long the hosting service keeps the visit records themselves is set by that service and is not determined by the cookie's expiry.

The site's own code does not set advertising cookies, and no advertising service is built into the site's code. The staff area uses sign-in credentials and browser storage so staff members can stay signed in; that applies only to staff, not to visitors.

Fonts

The lettering on these pages is loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser requests font files from Google when a page opens.

Content hosted from the previous website

Articles, patient forms and images published on the practice's earlier website are hosted directly on this website so the original web addresses keep working.

One archived article contains a video player supplied by YouTube. Opening that article loads the player from YouTube, so YouTube receives a request from your browser.
