First visit
What to expect at your first visit.
1. Request a call
Share your name, email and phone number, or call the office. Our staff will phone you to find a time that works and confirm your appointment.
2. A 30-minute evaluation in person
New-patient evaluations last about 30 minutes and take place at our St. Louis office. Testosterone consultations are in person. Dr. Mimlitz listens to what you are noticing and reviews your history and goals.
3. Labs if needed
If labs are needed, we can draw them during your visit. Results are generally available the next morning, and our team then talks through them and answers your questions. If you already have recent labs, bring them.
4. A plan, if care is appropriate
When clinically appropriate, some patients are able to begin treatment on the day of their first consultation. That decision is made by the physician based on your evaluation, so it is not guaranteed.
Walk-ins
Walk-ins may be accepted. Calling ahead helps us make sure there is time for you.
