What side effects can NAD+ injections cause?

Reported effects include injection-site discomfort and, for some people, flushing, nausea or a general feeling of discomfort around the time of the injection. Tell your clinician about anything you notice.

Formal human safety data for injected NAD+ is limited, which is part of why it is used with physician oversight.

Your clinician may adjust the plan if side effects are bothersome.

Risks and limitations

  • Because evidence is limited, unknown risks cannot be ruled out.
